Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Track record of designing, building, and scaling distributed, cloud-native backend services.
- Experience as a technical leader or architect in system design and scalability.
- Strong proficiency in API-first design (REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, EKS, IAM, S3).
- Experience with messaging tools such as SQS, Kinesis, Kafka, and EventBridge.
- Expert knowledge of infrastructure-as-code frameworks (CloudFormation, CDK).
- Understanding of observability, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve cloud-native platform services for high-throughput, low-latency data processing.
- Design scalable, distributed systems for authentication, authorization, and data lifecycle management.
- Evolve authorization services toward modern identity standards.
- Build governance primitives for regulated environments, including audit trails and access controls.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure supporting new services.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Enhance observability and monitoring for reliability and cost efficiency.
- Champion best practices in distributed systems design and performance optimization.
