Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting or audit experience.
- Public accounting/audit background required.
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP, including ASC 730.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly clinical trial accruals, prepaid roll-forwards, and reconciliations in accordance with ASC 730.
- Gather enrollment, site activity, and milestone data from Clinical Operations.
- Review CRO and clinical site invoices against contracted milestones.
- Support R&D expense accounting and cost allocations.
- Assist with technical accounting reviews of clinical trial agreements.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and detailed fluctuation analyses.
- Execute SOX 404(b) controls related to R&D and clinical trial accounting.
- Contribute to process automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
