Requirements

  • Active US Bar admission in good standing required.
  • 8+ years of experience in document review management within a law firm or managed review provider environment.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-jurisdictional and global legal review matters.
  • Strong understanding of litigation discovery processes, workflows, and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI, TAR, and analytics into defensible review strategies.
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Relativity or similar eDiscovery tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage distributed teams and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong client-facing advisory experience.
  • Ability to design, optimize, and implement scalable review workflows under tight deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Experience supporting MDLs or HSR Second Requests is a plus.
  • High level of technical aptitude and ability to evaluate emerging legal technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of complex document review strategies aligned with client requirements and best practices.
  • Advise clients and counsel on workflow optimization, leveraging analytics, AI, TAR, and other technologies to reduce review volume and improve accuracy.
  • Provide high-level oversight of project managers, review teams, and staffing partners to ensure quality control, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
  • Manage large-scale, multi-jurisdictional and global review matters, ensuring defensible processes and consistent execution standards.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing advisor, facilitating strategic discussions and resolving competing priorities among stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, ROI analysis, and engagement planning in collaboration with sales and client success teams.
  • Develop and refine enterprise-level review standards and promote adoption across multiple client matters.
  • Monitor project progress, deliver status reporting, and produce end-of-matter insights and performance summaries.
  • Oversee staffing strategies and ensure appropriate resource allocation to meet throughput and quality expectations.
  • Train and mentor Review Managers while contributing to internal process improvement and innovation initiatives.
