Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in strategy, project management, or program leadership.
- At least 3 years direct people management experience.
- AmeriCorps alumni status or extensive program knowledge.
- Experience in volunteer relations, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Strong project management skills for leading multiple initiatives.
- Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% within the US.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement national strategies for AmeriCorps volunteer lifecycle engagement.
- Develop initiatives for volunteer development, mentorship, and career pathways.
- Lead and expand alumni engagement and networking opportunities.
- Establish metrics and feedback systems to evaluate volunteer experience.
- Collaborate with HR, recruitment, and regional leadership.
- Manage and mentor AmeriCorps Program Managers.
- Serve as subject matter expert on AmeriCorps policies and compliance.
- Resolve volunteer concerns, grievances, and investigations.
- Develop training, communications, and engagement initiatives.
- Support national onboarding and offboarding efforts.
