Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend development
- Experience building serverless, cloud-native systems using AWS
- Knowledge of distributed systems, API design, and enterprise-scale architecture
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD
- Experience with DevOps tooling such as GitHub Actions, Docker, or ECS
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience with observability and monitoring practices
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development or LLM integration is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable cloud-native applications and platform services
- Build and enhance serverless and API-first systems using AWS
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to improve user and developer experience
- Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks
- Lead architectural decisions and technical direction across distributed systems
- Improve internal engineering productivity through tooling and automation
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead reliability improvements
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices
