Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, integrations, or data infrastructure.
- Track record of owning/delivering backend features in production.
- Proven experience deploying and operating production backend systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Celery).
- Deep experience with Postgres (schema design, query optimization).
- Experience working with large datasets and heterogeneous source systems.
- Experience designing integrations with third-party SaaS systems.
- Strong background in modern cloud-based architectures (AWS).
- Active use of modern AI coding tools.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of significant backend platform components.
- Lead implementation in a focused domain such as integrations, messaging infrastructure, or data ingestion.
- Make day-to-day technical decisions on data modeling, API design, error handling, and operational concerns.
- Partner closely with AI Engineering and Product to translate requirements into reliable software.
- Drive reliability, performance, and observability improvements.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code review and pairing.
- Contribute to platform-wide design discussions.
