Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Systems or Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Deep knowledge of Azure cloud platform and services (Container Apps, App Service, Service Bus, Data Factory, SQL Database, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform; Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) experience preferred.
- Experience leading or supporting cloud migrations to Azure.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and containerization, ideally with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with enterprise application platforms (NetSuite), middleware/ETL platforms, and EDI.
- Retail and omnichannel systems experience.
- Strong scripting and backend development experience with Python or TypeScript.
- Proficiency in API design, integration, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with Azure security and compliance practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Azure across the enterprise application ecosystem.
- Lead design and development of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Partner with Digital Technology Platform Engineer to define a unified Azure landing zone, networking topology, and identity model.
- Support consolidation of workloads onto Azure, including messaging (Service Bus / Event Hubs) and data platforms.
- Build and operate integration-heavy workloads including Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
- Support reconciliation and financial close workloads with platform-level discipline.
- Partner with integration developers to deliver performant and maintainable services.
- Establish and operate the Azure observability stack using Azure Monitor and OpenTelemetry.
- Build FinOps foundations on Azure including tagging standards and budget management.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews.
