Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT with at least 4 years in Information Security.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments, monitoring, and logging services.
- Knowledge of Government Agency Security Assessment Process (ATO).
- Familiarity with compliance guidelines including FISMA, NIST, HIPAA, and IRS Pub-1075.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
- Proficiency with tools such as Snyk, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Understanding of networking, cryptography, and security engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US federal government Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage security tools and ensure compliant configuration.
- Maintain security services and workloads within AWS containers.
- Manage infrastructure source code in GitHub and oversee pipelines.
- Run and track security scans using tools like Snyk.
- Establish and enforce information systems security policies and standards.
- Perform vulnerability and risk assessment analysis to support C&A.
- Prepare and review documentation including SSPs, risk reports, and C&A packages.
- Provide configuration management for security software and hardware.
- Maintain security information in JIRA/Confluence using agile DevSecOps practices.
