Requirements

  • Bachelors in biology/genomics or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of field sales experience in NGS or genomics-related products
  • Experience in both account management and new business development
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must have a home office in Central or Northern Germany

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage high volume and large complex sales
  • Ensure customers are satisfied and making rapid experimental progress
  • Develop, maintain, and grow repeat business
  • Prospect effectively to generate sales pipelines
  • Negotiate and close deals while minimizing discounting
  • Communicate technical advantages to customers
  • Develop quarterly and yearly business plans
  • Forecast projected sales in territory
  • Manage sales funnel and track deals in CRM
