Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations, social media, or content.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, compelling communications materials.
  • Experience supporting media relations including list building, reporter research, pitching, and press reporting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Understanding of how PR, social media, and brand storytelling work together.
  • Experience or interest in awards, speaking opportunities, executive visibility, and thought leadership.
  • Comfort using AI tools to work faster and improve workflows.
  • Ability to spot relevant trends, media hooks, and cultural moments.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Familiarity with creator economy, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, or social commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of LTK’s PR strategy across corporate, consumer, creator, brand, product, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Assist with media relations, including building and maintaining targeted media lists, researching reporters, drafting pitches, tracking outreach, and identifying timely media opportunities.
  • Draft and support PR materials including press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, award submissions, speaking submissions, executive bios, and fact sheets.
  • Monitor media coverage, social conversation, industry news, competitor activity, and relevant trends.
  • Track, organize, and report on press coverage, PR performance, share of voice, sentiment, and message pull-through.
  • Support awards and speaking programs by managing submission calendars, gathering materials, and coordinating executive participation.
  • Partner with the social team to ensure news and press moments are translated into external content opportunities.
  • Maintain PR trackers, media lists, editorial calendars, and internal planning materials.
  • Use AI tools to improve speed and organization across recurring PR workflows.
