Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in eDiscovery, data minimization, or search strategy development within complex legal or technical environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong expertise in eDiscovery platforms, with Relativity experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in dtSearch syntax and regular expressions.
  • Deep understanding of keyword search consultation, ECA workflows, and data culling strategies.
  • Experience applying GenAI, automation, or advanced analytics within eDiscovery or legal technology workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills, including experience engaging with legal teams or enterprise clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across technical, operational, and client-facing teams.
  • Experience in leadership or client services roles in eDiscovery is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client-facing Keyword Search Consultation (KWC) engagements, delivering expert guidance on search strategy and data culling optimization.
  • Design, analyze, iterate, and refine keyword search terms using advanced syntax (dtSearch, DART, and related tools) to maximize culling efficiency.
  • Apply GenAI-enabled workflows and proprietary culling technologies (including DART syntax and IQ ECA) to support ECA and data minimization strategies.
  • Develop and execute custom search solutions for complex or non-standard client requirements.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables, including analyses, reports, and search optimization documentation.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to address client needs, escalations, and consultation requests in a timely manner.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for innovation, including responsible integration of AI into search and review workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, training materials, and standardized best practices for the Search Consulting function.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting technical and consultative excellence.
  • Serve as a key internal resource for complex search-related challenges and cross-functional collaboration.
