Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
- Proficiency with modern frameworks like Fastify or Nest.js
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
- Solid experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ or Kafka) and event-driven design
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and WebSockets
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing (Jest)
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Grafana, Loki, and Tempo
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the backend direction as a key technical leader
- Design and implement new game mechanics and extend core gameplay engine capabilities
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services
- Collaborate with Game Logic, Frontend, and DevOps teams for platform consistency
- Define backend engineering standards and enforce best practices
- Design and maintain backend infrastructure, schemas, and messaging flows
- Participate in roadmap planning and architectural decision-making
- Support a rapidly growing product environment
