Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design, with a proven track record of leading teams through periods of scale.
- Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex problems into scalable design systems.
- Success in leading design for complex systems serving a broad range of users.
- Proven ability to implement modern tools and AI to automate the design-to-code lifecycle.
- Ability to make high-stakes trade-offs between business speed, technical constraints, and clinical safety.
- Proven ability to build high-trust relationships with senior leadership.
- Experience in a clinical or regulated health tech environment is highly preferred.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance, data privacy standards, and WCAG accessibility requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define a vision of clinical harmony by establishing a multi-year design roadmap.
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to operationalize scalable design systems.
- Set interaction principles and emotional guidelines for technology and AI integration.
- Define and socialize core design principles to act as a source of truth for UI.
- Lead and mentor a versatile design organization.
- Champion a culture of evidence through user research and discovery standards.
- Own the design organization’s operational strategy, including headcount and budgeting.
- Unify the experience ecosystem by partnering with Marketing and Growth teams.
