Requirements
- 4-6 years of product design experience, ideally in early-stage or fast-moving startups.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating zoomed-in detail and zoomed-out strategy.
- Command of design foundations (typography, space, color theory, UX clarity, micro-interactions).
- Experience prototyping with code and working in terminal environments.
- Comfort using AI tooling like Claude Code to ship components.
- Experience designing for technical audiences such as developers, security engineers, or DevOps.
- Mastery of Figma.
- Ability to read and edit HTML and CSS; ability to write code is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Champion design principles in all work.
- Explore broadly and converge on design layout, structure, and approach.
- Lead design on core platform initiatives from concept through craft.
- Translate dense technical workflows into human-centered experiences.
- Partner with engineers to prototype real interactions in code.
- Build and extend the design system in production using tools like Claude Code.
- Challenge conventional answers with better work.
- Raise the bar for the design team through shipped work.
