Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Sales Engineer in enterprise security, infrastructure, or cloud.
  • Proven experience supporting complex enterprise deals ($1M+).
  • Strong hands-on technical ability.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience with HSMs and crypto interfaces (PKCS#11, CAPI, CNG, JCE).
  • Knowledge of KMS systems (KMIP, REST APIs).
  • Experience with cloud key management (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, Google KMS).
  • Familiarity with security use cases (TDE, TLS, blockchain, secure manufacturing).
  • Fluent in German.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical win for enterprise deals.
  • Lead technical strategy from first conversation to close.
  • Run consultative, high-value engagements.
  • Translate deep technical concepts into business value.
  • Perform discovery to identify root customer problems.
  • Manage technical evaluations and POCs end-to-end.
  • Build and deliver tailored demos for technical and executive audiences.
  • Train and enable customers for adoption and expansion.
  • Influence product roadmap through real-world customer feedback.
