Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in contract development within a manufacturing or technical services environment
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favourable outcomes
  • Excellent written communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience engaging C-suite executives
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter
  • Proficiency in Oracle
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strategic, results-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Technical Sales team in securing new business and aligning customer requirements with bid specifications.
  • Build and maintain robust bid processes to increase accuracy and win probability.
  • Develop and execute training and development programs for technical sales and business development staff.
  • Oversee pipeline analytics, bid reporting, solicitation tracking, and option-conversion forecasting.
  • Forecast market sales and profitability to guide long-term planning and resourcing.
  • Direct competitive research and market landscape analysis.
  • Monitor contract profitability, risk, and performance.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure strategy alignment.
  • Participate in New Product Development initiatives as the voice of the customer.
