Experience: 3+ years

Requirements

3+ years of estimating experience in underground utilities, civil construction, or closely related trades
Demonstrated experience on large-scale projects ($500K+) for U.S.-based clients
Proficiency with Bluebeam and PlanSwift software
Expertise in reading and interpreting utility-specific plan sets, specifications, and schedules
Experience in end-to-end bid process from takeoff through submission
Experience with post-award workflows such as buyouts, RFIs, and submittals
Proven experience engaging directly with clients in a sales-oriented capacity
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Prior experience working remotely for U.S.-based contractors

Responsibilities

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from civil and power utility drawings using Bluebeam and PlanSwift
Conduct thorough plan reviews and specification analysis
Manage the complete bid solicitation and submission process
Coordinate supplier and subcontractor pricing
Serve as the primary estimator contact for clients
Track active bid invitations and manage the estimating pipeline
Support post-award workflows including subcontractor buyouts, RFIs, and submittals
