Requirements
- 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
- Experience on large-scale projects ($500K+) for U.S.-based clients.
- Proficiency with Xactimate software.
- Expertise in commercial drawing interpretation.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and plan schedules.
- Experience managing the end-to-end bid process.
- Familiarity with pre-construction workflows including vendor coordination, RFIs, and submittals.
- Experience engaging directly with clients during the bidding process.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Prior experience working remotely for U.S.-based contractors preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from commercial construction drawings using Xactimate.
- Conduct thorough plan reviews and specification analysis to identify missing information.
- Manage the complete bid solicitation and submission process from receipt through final delivery.
- Serve as the primary estimator contact for national clients and contractors.
- Track active bid invitations and manage the estimating pipeline.
- Support pre-construction workflows including vendor calls, RFIs, and submittals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on scope and scheduling.
- Assist project managers with estimating input on change orders and scope adjustments.
