- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in public company environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Financial systems experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Experience reviewing work of others
- Team leadership experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP standards.
- Prepare and review SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and disclosure footnotes.
- Manage external audit process and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and performance management to the accounting team.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions.
- Support SOX compliance and remediation of control deficiencies.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights.
