Requirements
- 5+ years of validated 24/7 production operations leadership.
- Proven experience leading incident response, owning MTTR, and performing AARs.
- Hands-on AWS architecture expertise (Redshift, EMR, Lambda, EKS, S3, IAM, CDK/CloudFormation).
- Expertise in data platform operations (ETL/ELT, data lakes, orchestration, BI tooling).
- Strong systems and software architecture fluency.
- Technical leadership experience with sprint-based planning and capacity management.
- Ability to maintain hands-on technical credibility to unblock and review engineering output.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate analytical and data intelligence platforms (Redshift, QuickSight, FeedDB, Protegrity, Alation) as the L1/L2 owner.
- Lead 24/7 incident management and production operations across 10+ Data & AI platforms.
- Architect the Forge Ops OS, an agent-based operating model for system reliability.
- Drive data platform cost efficiency and unit economics optimization.
- Manage operational planning, executive reporting, and sprint-based improvement programs.
