Requirements
- Proven experience in B2C ML product management (recommendations, search, ranking, or personalization).
- Deep technical understanding of the full ML lifecycle (data pipelines, feature engineering, training, deployment).
- Ability to communicate fluently about ML system concepts like candidate generation, ranking, and model evaluation.
- Strong commercial ownership with experience in e-commerce business metrics (GMV, retention, registry completion).
- Experience operating in an early-stage or evolving ML environment.
- Proven ability to translate business goals into technical requirements for engineering.
- Exceptional communication skills and clarity of thought.
- Daily proficiency using LLMs and AI tools in product workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own recommendations and discovery at Babylist end-to-end.
- Set the one-year horizon for product personalization.
- Partner closely with the ML Engineering team on strategy, modeling, and infrastructure.
- Define quality bars and make tradeoffs for ML-powered experiences.
- Educate leadership on ML investment and strategy.
- Utilize AI-native workflows to prototype and analyze data.
- Mentor and develop other PMs.
