Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, ideally within medical devices, diagnostics, or regulated industries.
- Strong expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI) and third-party manufacturing or outsourcing models.
- Proven success in leading complex negotiations for high-value commercial contracts, including IP and quality terms.
- Ability to manage strategic supplier relationships and drive long-term partnership value.
- Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management skills in matrixed environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically (up to 35–50%).
- Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing for third-party organizations (TPOs), including components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods supporting new product introduction and lifecycle management.
- Develop and execute category and supplier strategies aligned with innovation roadmaps, cost objectives, and supply continuity requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new strategic suppliers to support product development and future technology needs.
- Manage critical supplier relationships, acting as the primary sourcing interface for key global partners.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations covering pricing, intellectual property, quality, and supply agreements.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with R&D, manufacturing, quality, commercial, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of sourcing strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage risk, and implement value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
