Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (CSWE accredited)
- Valid master’s level license (LMSW, LISW, LCSW)
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, specifically oncology, palliative, or hospice
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Proficiency with video chatting, Google Suite, and electronic health records
- Experience in startup or tech-forward environments preferred
- OSW-C or APHSW-C certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Identify and connect patients with relevant community resources
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare teams
- Advocate for patients with insurance and healthcare providers
- Provide immediate crisis intervention
- Lead support groups and provide education
