Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solid tumor oncology nursing.
  • Oncology-related certification (OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM) or agreement to obtain within 2 years.
  • Ability to work in the lower 48 United States.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and oversee member health.
  • Provide triage, support, and education to members throughout their cancer journey via phone and email.
  • Facilitate end-of-life care discussions and manage urgent clinical escalations.
  • Coordinate care across the oncology continuum, from screening to survivorship or end-of-life care.
  • Address member needs including symptom management, nutritional support, discharge planning, and provider referrals.
  • Collaborate with medical directors and nurse leaders to ensure clinical protocol alignment.
  • Partner with payers, oncology providers, and primary care providers to optimize care delivery.
  • Work with non-clinical staff to address social determinants of health such as food and transportation.
  • Participate in case conferences to monitor and plan member care.
