Requirements
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines and production-grade data workflows
- Solid knowledge of dbt, including developing models, tests, and documentation
- Experience working with cloud environments, preferably GCP, and data warehouses such as BigQuery
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Hands-on experience creating and operating web scrapers and integrating diverse external data sources
- Practical understanding of backend development, ideally with FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Ability to analyze data quality issues, debug pipeline failures, and improve overall system reliability
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow or similar) is beneficial
- Strong architectural awareness and the ability to coordinate work across interconnected systems and teams
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust web scrapers that extract and process data from GCP into BigQuery
- Develop, improve, and optimize dbt models, tests, and pipelines to ensure high data quality, lineage clarity, and reliable transformations
- Enhance and refine internal algorithms and valuation models supporting analytical and investment workflows
- Maintain, extend, and troubleshoot the FastAPI backend that powers the data platform
- Understand the end-to-end data architecture and coordinate work across interconnected systems and teams
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, well-structured, and production-ready data solutions
