Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and Airflow.
- Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelling.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and API data ingestion.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, and monitoring tools.
- Strong communication and ownership mindset.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Design data models using Data Vault 2.0, dbt, and dimensional modelling.
- Optimise SQL queries, Snowflake performance, and data processing costs.
- Develop API ingestion workflows with monitoring, retries, and data validation.
- Implement data quality, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Work closely with data science, analytics, product, and platform teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and support nearshore data engineering teams.
