Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in an in-house legal department or law firm
- Strong understanding of data privacy law
- Experience in e-commerce, platform and technology regulations
- Solid generalist background with experience in commercial law, compliance, and regulatory topics
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven project and stakeholder-management skills
- Degree in Austrian or German Law
- Experience in Austrian law is required
Responsibilities
- Advise internal teams on legal risks and help them find practical, workable solutions
- Support the business on new market entries, product launches, and strategic initiatives
- Own and improve our legal processes, templates, and documentation
- Ensure that our company is compliant with current and future e-commerce, technology and platform regulations
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and partners
- Oversee compliance with data protection laws and ensure the security of customer data
