Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4+ years of professional development experience, building APIs and services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex full-stack projects.
- Strong expertise in modern backend frameworks such as Python (Django), Typescript (Node.js).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions based on requirements, constraints, and trade-offs.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from requirements gathering through implementation, collaborating closely with product, design, and data engineering stakeholders.
- Contribute to and influence the evolution of overall system architecture and quality of our core platform services.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners to define, design, ship, and monitor new features.
- Effectively communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply passion for user experience and technical expertise to design and build high impact user workflows.
- Set the standard for quality and technical excellence through code and design reviews.
- Improve engineering processes and procedures.
