Requirements
- University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to apply mechanical principles to practical tasks.
- Proven capability to develop creative or non-standard technical solutions.
- Proficiency in NX CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with various machining equipment such as HMCs, VMCs, and lathes.
- Understanding of material properties (Tool Steel, stainless, etc.) and tolerance management.
Responsibilities
- Program complex parts for both 2-axis and advanced 5-axis machining.
- Collaborate with operators and process engineers to refine programs and improve workflows.
- Support the creation of defect-free parts.
- Support process improvement projects including machine integration and plant cost improvement.
- Program new machines.
- Communicate program adjustments across teams to improve processes.
