Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
- 3.5 G.P.A. or higher (or foreign equivalent).
- Graduate coursework in Probability and Statistics for Data Science, Computational Linear Algebra, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Big Data, and Machine Learning.
- 3 months of experience analyzing and manipulating large, messy, or complex data.
- 3 months of experience with Python, PySpark or Spark.
- 3 months of experience with SQL.
- 3 months of experience adapting/applying and scaling techniques in machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, reinforcement learning and/or time-series analysis.
- 3 months of experience with data visualization tasks.
- 3 months of experience with ggplot2, Matplotlib, and/or Shiny.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Git command line or similar GitHub tools.
Responsibilities
- Implement industry-standard predictive modeling solutions.
- Analyze, manipulate, clean, and process large and messy data using predictive modeling solutions and cloud-based computing resources/infrastructure.
- Code original R/Python scripts, optimize current scripts, and develop analytical reports and models.
- Design and implement wrapper/tool/utility functions for automated tasks.
- Organize analytical tools into distributable, regularly maintained, and tested R/Python packages.
- Work independently or collaboratively on complex data science problems with stakeholders and clients.
- Lead technical portion of client projects.
- Provide technical data science expertise to assist sales teams.
- Conduct in-depth research to improve multi-source data quality.
