Requirements
- Experience designing and shipping production frontend code
- Proficiency in React, React Native, SwiftUI, or equivalent
- Portfolio of shipped consumer product work across web and native mobile
- Ability to move from concept to interactive prototype in hours
- Experience planning and running end-to-end user research
- Strong systems thinking capabilities
- Ability to set and defend a product design vision to the C-suite
- Experience mentoring and developing designers
- Comfort and proficiency using AI tools in the design process
Responsibilities
- Own a major customer journey or product experience end-to-end
- Set the design vision for your experience and earn organizational alignment
- Design intuitive and emotionally right experiences for families
- Contribute to and evolve Babylist's design system
- Run user research including interviews and usability testing
- Write production frontend code to implement and polish designs
- Build and teach AI-native design/prototyping workflows
- Scale design democratization and act as quality consultant
- Develop other designers through feedback and coaching
- Instrument work and track metrics to ensure impact
