Requirements
- 9+ years of industry experience
- 3-5+ years in engineering management
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- Background in data engineering, platform engineering, or data infrastructure
- Hands-on fluency with distributed data systems (batch and streaming)
- Experience with online/offline serving or event-driven architectures
- Experience building in a cross-functional platform role
- Comfort with greenfield work and building from early-stage specs
- Strong understanding of entity modeling and schema evolution
- Clear communication skills for senior leadership and cross-functional alignment
Responsibilities
- Drive entity onboarding with producer teams across the company
- Lead technical design on the trip entity (data model, event taxonomy, streaming architecture)
- Partner with compute and data infrastructure teams for real-time data processing
- Partner with product teams to validate signal layer use cases
- Review technical designs for attribute serving and event pipelines
- Manage and develop a team of ~7 engineers
- Represent entity platform work in executive-level program reviews
