Requirements
- Build production-quality iOS or Android apps in Swift or Kotlin
- Deep expertise in one platform and solid working knowledge of the other
- Fluent in mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC)
- Proficiency in UI frameworks (SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, UIKit, Auto Layout)
- Experience shipping consumer-facing mobile products
- Ability to collaborate with designers and interpret Figma files
- Experience partnering with backend engineers on API design
- Natural use of AI to improve development velocity and output
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the Babylist iOS and Android apps
- Lead the mobile build-out of Babylist's new education experience
- Drive performance improvements on both platforms
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces
- Collaborate with full-stack engineers on API design and architecture
