Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS products
- Demonstrated success leading company-critical, high-impact initiatives as an individual contributor
- Exceptional strength in UX, UI, system design, and interaction design
- Deep product, domain, and business acumen
- Experience designing complex, data-heavy, workflow-driven systems at enterprise scale
- Proven ability to coach and elevate other design leaders, including senior- and Staff-level designers
- Comfort operating with high autonomy and navigating ambiguity
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Strong judgment and leadership presence
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the design vision for a major product area, aligning closely with Product and Engineering leadership
- Lead and guide design across multiple teams, reviewing and approving work, and setting the bar for craft, systems thinking, and execution
- Identify and lead the most complex, high-impact initiatives across the product and organization
- Design and evolve foundational systems, architectures, and reusable patterns
- Act as a force multiplier by mentoring designers and helping teams raise their execution bar
- Co-lead with senior Product and Engineering leaders to influence product strategy and prioritization
- Improve how teams work together, identifying gaps in execution, collaboration, or quality
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI
- Communicate clearly at the org and company level, including writing crisp documents
