Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required and must be maintained.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of Department of Defense (DoD) financial management experience.
  • Strong understanding of DoD financial systems, budgeting processes, and acquisition lifecycle planning.
  • Experience with cost estimating, financial modeling, and program analysis.
  • Familiarity with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and government reporting.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting sensitive government programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management and analytical support for acquisition planning, budgeting, and program cost estimation activities.
  • Develop and refine cost estimates for acquisition strategies, contracts, and program lifecycle planning.
  • Support Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development and related financial planning processes.
  • Conduct manpower analysis, cost modeling, and resource allocation assessments to support decision-making.
  • Perform cost-benefit and trade-off analyses to evaluate program and acquisition alternatives.
  • Support studies and analysis (S&A) tasks, including business case development and financial reporting.
  • Maintain and analyze financial data systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Assist with acquisition documentation, proposal reviews, and financial inputs for contract modifications.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure financial alignment with program objectives and constraints.
