Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Prior experience at a public company or leading accounting through IPO preparation and execution.
- Deep expertise in revenue accounting for SaaS businesses.
- Experience leading accounting at companies with multiple currencies, international legal entities, and M&A.
- Experience leading SOX implementation and operating in a public-company-ready control environment.
- Proven people leader with experience building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Strong technical accounting foundation (US GAAP).
- Excellent cross-functional communication and executive presence.
- Fluent in English (speak and write).
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and scale the multi-regional Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Payroll, and Billing/Collections teams.
- Drive IPO readiness initiatives including SOX compliance, internal controls, audit preparedness, and process documentation.
- Establish and refine accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP, focusing on SaaS revenue recognition.
- Own revenue accounting processes including ASC 606, contract review, and complex revenue arrangements.
- Manage global tax structure, including transfer pricing studies and VAT/GST compliance.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Own global cash positioning, bank account administration, and investment policy execution.
- Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and RevOps to support contract structuring.
- Partner with FP&A on alignment between actuals, forecasts, and strategic plans.
