Job Details

Experience: At least 10 years

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience supporting the z/OS Mainframe Storage environment
Extensive experience with DASD and Tape (IBM DS8k, TS7k, EMC, Luminex)
Knowledge of Tape management systems (Broadcom, TMC, IBM RRM, OAM)
Experience with VSM Virtual tape solutions and management
Proficiency with Global Mirror with Practice, Global Copy, FDR Software, ACS Routines
Experience with IBM IDCAMS and z/OS JCL
Proficiency in SMS routines (DFSMS), DFHSM, SAS/Vantage reporting
Familiarity with Tape dump restores

Responsibilities

Support Disaster Recovery within Mainframe environment
Understand both Tape and DASD Subsystems
Perform Data Recovery for Tape and DASD
Maintain DR Plan and DR Technical Scripts (TRP’s)
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, DRaaS Coordinators, clients, and vendors
Regularly update managers on Drill status
