Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of IT experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial software services functions.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience designing or implementing MES applications (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Experience in designing or implementing MES traceability and quality applications.
- Proficiency with Red Viking Argonaut, Inductive Automation - Ignition, SAP, Oracle, Siemens, or Allen Bradley.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%, both locally and internationally.
- Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Engage relevant IT department personnel to assist in resolution of MES application and manufacturing process issues.
- Perform technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis to user requirements.
- Support MES solution architectures and assist customers in developing detailed design specifications.
- Define functional requirements through client interviews and process mapping.
- Responsible for technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of MES solution development projects.
- Manage and report on adjustments to scope, schedule, and issues.
- Work with key IT personnel to define & socialize MES strategy for standard hardware & software systems.
