Requirements
- Degree level qualification in a relevant life science discipline
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in commercial roles within the CDMO sector
- Demonstrable success selling formulation development and clinical manufacturing services to biotech and pharmaceutical clients
- Strong understanding of the end to end drug development lifecycle
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into commercially sound, technically credible proposals
- Experience managing complex negotiations and closing high value deals
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
- Self motivated, resilient and comfortable working autonomously in a remote role
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the US East Coast region
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver a profitable commercial growth strategy across Early, Late Stage and Commercial Drug Product services within an assigned US East Coast territory
- Achieve individual sales targets while supporting broader commercial team objectives
- Develop and execute a cohesive territory strategy informed by market trends, client pipelines and competitive intelligence
- Manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation through to contract execution
- Build, expand and retain strategic relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical clients
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships into additional services and programmes
- Work closely with site leadership to align client needs with operational capability
- Lead commercial discussions with clients on programme scope, pricing, timelines and CapEx planning
- Collaborate with legal, technical, marketing and project management teams
- Represent Quotient Sciences at client meetings, conferences and industry events across the US East Coast
