Requirements
- 4+ years of working experience as a software engineer in large-scale cloud services or application development environments.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience delivering large-scale solutions with an industry-recognized in-memory datastore (e.g., Valkey or Redis).
- 1+ years of experience building cloud-based control-plane software.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and design systems using common back-end Web technologies.
- Experience working with a large codebase on a cross-functional team.
- Strong sense of ownership and drive for technical problem-solving.
- Ability to mentor and scale others through design guidance and code reviews.
- Ability to balance urgency with shipping high-quality, pragmatic solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own and build foundational engineering components for storage platforms.
- Set technical direction and report to an engineering manager.
- Work closely with application engineering teams and internal stakeholders.
- Ship high-quality, scalable solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Drive high-impact initiatives related to in-memory storage solutions.
- Manage and innovate automated monitoring and control-plane systems.
- Support database proxies, snapshotting, and backup services.
- Architect systems using common back-end Web technologies.
- Scale effectively by mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
