Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in large-scale cloud services or application development environments.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience delivering large-scale solutions with an industry-recognized database (ideally PostgreSQL).
- 1+ years of experience building cloud-based control-plane software.
- Strong ability to architect and design systems using common back-end Web technologies in a production environment.
- Experience working with a large codebase on a cross-functional team.
- Demonstrated capacity to evolve complex solutions to meet business needs.
- Ability to balance urgency with high quality and pragmatic solutions.
- Self-motivation and enjoyment for a growth-oriented startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Own technical direction for Storage platforms.
- Work closely with application engineering teams and internal stakeholders.
- Own the development process from problem understanding to shipping.
- Ship high quality, scalable and robust solutions.
- Drive high-impact storage initiatives related to innovation and resiliency.
- Scale yourself effectively via junior engineers.
- Establish standards, best practices, and perform code reviews.
