Responsibilities
- Build and operate a highly performant, available, and scalable data access gateway
- Abstract implementation complexity like storage, indices, data placement, replication, and security from product developers
- Build and operate a generalized data schematization solution
- Manage end-to-end ORM, schema definition, schema lifecycle, and runtime schema discovery
- Act as a technological expert on data storage systems
- Provide guidance to product teams on large-scale systems and performance optimization
