Responsibilities
- Turn raw insurance data into actionable insights and deployable models that support pricing, underwriting, and business strategy decisions.
- Support Auto and Home Actuarial team update Base Rate Offset tool into Python.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of predictive analytics through advanced statistical and analytical techniques.
- Use appropriate modeling techniques to address business needs.
- Develop new modeling techniques and evaluate model performance.
- Design and publish reports to communicate results and track model performance.
- Develop predictor and response variable programs and ensure quality standards.
- Support preparation of internal/external data sets to build/rebuild/refresh predictive models.
- Create ad-hoc data analyses as needed and communicate analytics to technical and non-technical partners.
