Requirements
- 6+ months of practical experience working with LiDAR data / point clouds
- Understanding of 3D spatial data interpretation (elevation, surfaces, vertical structures, infrastructure objects)
- Ability to visually analyze point cloud datasets
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work according to detailed production instructions
- Basic GIS knowledge (layers, coordinates, attributes, spatial objects)
- Good computer literacy
- Experience working with structured data in Excel or similar tools
Responsibilities
- Process LiDAR data according to project instructions
- Identify telecom / utility poles and related infrastructure objects
- Measure required heights and attributes from point cloud data
- Prepare output datasets in the required client format
- Ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of processed records
- Perform self-QC before task submission
- Correct issues identified during QA review
- Report progress and blockers to Team Lead / Project Manager
- Escalate unclear cases, missing data, or documentation gaps
