Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership in diagnostics, IVD, or clinical research.
- Proven track record of building and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Deep understanding of IVD development, assay validation, and regulatory pathways (FDA 510(k), IVD-R).
- Ability to engage with scientific, regulatory, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience selling diagnostic development, validation, or regulatory services is preferred.
- Background in biospecimens, clinical operations, or CRO/CDMO environments is preferred.
- Experience operating in global or matrixed organizations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive US revenue growth, meeting or exceeding annual bookings and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute a US-focused business development strategy.
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities with diagnostic and IVD companies.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract structuring.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with client stakeholders.
- Monitor US IVD and diagnostics market trends and competitive landscape.
- Partner with internal teams to qualify opportunities and deliver proposals.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting via CRM.
