Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership in diagnostics, IVD, or clinical research.
  • Proven track record of building and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Deep understanding of IVD development, assay validation, and regulatory pathways (FDA 510(k), IVD-R).
  • Ability to engage with scientific, regulatory, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience selling diagnostic development, validation, or regulatory services is preferred.
  • Background in biospecimens, clinical operations, or CRO/CDMO environments is preferred.
  • Experience operating in global or matrixed organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive US revenue growth, meeting or exceeding annual bookings and revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute a US-focused business development strategy.
  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities with diagnostic and IVD companies.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract structuring.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Monitor US IVD and diagnostics market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Partner with internal teams to qualify opportunities and deliver proposals.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting via CRM.
