Requirements
- Solid backend engineering depth, experience with production systems at scale
- Hands-on experience with agentic coding and AI-assisted development
- Opinionated approach to code reviews
- Proven mentorship instinct
- Senior engineering judgment for design and architecture
- Remote-first mindset and ability to work in an async, distributed team
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Bonus: Exposure to cybersecurity, high-throughput data pipelines, or event-driven architectures
Responsibilities
- Review pull requests across the team to maintain code quality and consistency
- Build backend services across all our products to deliver reliable, production-grade features
- Lead technical design discussions to bring the team to the best solution
- Investigate complex, hard-to-diagnose problems to become the team's go-to expert
- Mentor mid-level engineers through pairing, reviews, and design conversations
- Experiment with AI-assisted development tools to identify what actually works for the team
