Requirements
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active license to practice in patient's state(s) of residence.
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states.
- Commitment to evidence-based care and professional development.
- Experience treating patients with eating disorders, emotion dysregulation, suicidal ideation, substance use, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and ADHD.
- Ability to work full-time with a schedule including two evenings per week until 6 pm.
- Ability to attend mandatory virtual team meetings and supervision sessions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for psychiatrically complex patients with eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and consultation to outside psychiatric providers.
- Implement medication treatment plans for individuals with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic setting.
- Evaluate eating disorder-related medical risk within the psychiatric scope of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of medical providers, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients through Equip’s EMR.
- Engage and collaborate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and learning opportunities.
