Requirements
- 6+ years software engineering experience with a focus on system architecture of large-scale, performant distributed systems.
- 3+ years leading technical teams in an agile environment.
- Mastery in Python.
- Commitment to engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, fault-tolerance).
- Hands-on experience managing/deploying cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with orchestration tools (k8s, Docker).
- Proficient knowledge of AI/ML platforms, frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and algorithms.
- Track record of optimizing technical outcomes across engineering, product, and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Partner with CTO to determine engineering direction on macro and micro scales.
- Operate at the cusp between hands-on software development, high-level design, and technical leadership.
- Lead and mentor the engineering team in executing the aggressive roadmap.
- Manage resources and allocation to yield optimal outcomes.
- Partner with product and business counterparts on roadmap and decisioning.
- Architect and implement high-scale and throughput systems.
- Set engineering standards and drive architectural decisions.
