Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering
- Expertise in Databricks and lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Spark)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
- Experience with transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt)
- Strong client-facing experience
- Healthcare data experience (Epic, HL7, FHIR, claims data) preferred
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of scalable data solutions
- Lead design and implementation of data pipelines, data models, and transformation frameworks
- Serve as a primary client-facing technical leader
- Establish and enforce best practices across data engineering and DevOps
- Drive platform strategy and architecture decisions
- Lead and mentor delivery teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
- Identify risks and ensure high-quality, timely delivery
- Support business development efforts and proposal shaping
