Requirements
- 10+ years in software, data, or ML/AI platform engineering.
- 5+ years leading engineering managers or multi-team platform organizations.
- Hands-on experience with distributed compute and storage (Spark, Trino/Presto, Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake).
- Experience with event streaming (Kafka, Flink) and orchestration (Airflow).
- Experience with ML lifecycle management, MLOps, and model serving (Ray Serve, Triton).
- Expertise in Generative AI/LLMOps, RAG, and agent architectures.
- Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs) and self-service tooling.
- Strong proficiency in cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, AWS).
- Strong product leadership mindset and ability to manage 360-degree execution.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and manage large-scale architectural transitions.
Responsibilities
- Set and own the product vision for each platform area.
- Own platform modernization decisions and strategic architectural shifts.
- Build developer experience, self-service tooling, and golden paths.
- Lead and grow the organization by managing engineering managers and senior ICs.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Data Science, ML Engineering, and Product.
- Communicate platform strategy and trade-offs to executive leadership.
- Run the business including budget, headcount, and vendor relationships.
